Crockpot this pork. There’s nothing fancy or strange about it. It works and it’s perfectly delicious. The pork is cooked exactly how you want it to be. It’s tender and far from dry. Shredding it with two forks is effortless. The spices work their way through every morsel. Yum, I’m drooling just writing about it. I found the original recipe on www.foodonthetable.com and now it’s gone! I can’t find it! Here’s a similar one.
3-4 lb pork shoulder
½ taco seasoning packet
1 onion, chopped
2 ½ C organic chicken broth
1 pkg taco size flour tortillas
1 C shredded Mexican blend cheese
1 C broccoli slaw mix
1 C roasted tomato salsa
What You Already Have:
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp sweet paprika
½ tsp ground oregano
1 T flour
slow cooker
platter
aluminum foil
1) Place onion on bottom of slow cooker. Lay pork shoulder over onions and sprinkle with taco seasoning.
2) Pour in chicken broth. Add chili powder, onion powder, salt, paprika, oregano and flour to pot.
3) Cook on LOW for 9 hours.
4) When pork is ready, remove and shred on platter. Discard juice.
5) Wrap tortillas in foil and heat at 350° for 10 minutes.
6) Layer pork, slaw, cheese and salsa on top of tortilla.
7) Serve.

Your Pulled Pork Looks Delicious. I Wish I Could Cook Too!
Yummy! That looks like something my daughter would eat :). It's just so difficult to get her to eat healthy.
Yum! I'm getting together this weeks shopping list, so guess what's going on it?
Thanks!
Yum, I may be making that this weekend. I love pulled pork!!
Pulled Pork is definitely an American thing, so I hadn't tried it until I moved to the US earlier this year - so yummy! And in Hawaii, they cook their pork in a charcoal oven (traditionally underground) for hours - it's so soft, tender and juicy - mmmm:)
Thanks for sharing your recipe,
Kristina
I just made pulled pork last night! It always makes the house smell so good all day as it cooks, and by dinnertime I can't wait to eat!
